Family History Group usually meets on the second Thursday of each month at
Ilkeston Fire Station. But for our dates in October, November and December
2022 the community room is not available, so we are ‘thinking out of the box’
for our get togethers this quarter.

We are a large group so it’s not so easy just to switch to a member’s home. In
October we have planned a Zoom talk presented by the u3a Subject Adviser
on Genealogy. The talk will be about overcoming research blocks, aka ‘Brick
Walls’, and establishing genealogical proof.

November and December activities have yet to be decided.
